Sorry everybody, I meant "20 most underrated and unheard of bands"
20. SoTheySay, sure in this day and age, duel vocal emo bands are like white on rice, but these guys really up the bar for every band out there
19.The Misfits, if u havn't heard of them look them up. The singer, Danzing, influenced some of the best artists in rock and punk, like Davey Havok of AFI to wiL(vocals, lyrics) of Aiden, and they came up with the devil lock, how bad could they be?
18. Aiden, throw on eyeliner and scream into a mic, sure almost as common as the duel vocal emo bands, but these guys really show how a band can transform an long over-beaten ganre, into something entirely new.
17. Armor for Sleep, need I say more?
16.Trivium, they are the new Metallica, from the 1 1/2-4 mintue guitar solos to Matt Heafy(Vocals/guitar) vocals.
15. Brand New, I'm sure you've heard of Taking Back Sunday, but have you heard of one of Long Island's best kept secrets? If not look them up.
14. Glassjaw, before Daryl Palumbo started shaking his ass and getting in touch with his dance steps in Head Automatica, he was throwing down and kicking ass in Glassjaw, a Screamo/Hardcore band from Long Island, Glassjaw surely is long Island's best kept secret.
13. Punchline, MANY of you might disagree with me, but s**** you if you do, this is THE BEST band on all of the Fueled by Ramen/Decadence Record's line up. That includes, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Paramore and any others that you can throw at me.
12. I Am Ghost, if they got signed after three months from starting the band, and was selling out shows in one, they have to be good, huh?
11. Bayside, these guys, a dark punk-pop band from Long Island, have gone, literally, through hell, from half the band, including the original bassist/lyricist, then their drummer dying in a car crash(R.I.P. Beatz) last year in the middle of a tour, then getting a slot on their biggest influences reunion tour without a drummer, these guys r such an amazing band, with SUCh amazing music, just give them a frikkin chance, please.
10. Norma Jean, these guys are awesome, their a Christian Metal band on the Solid State Records. They're on singer number two, and he just keeps getting better and better.
9. He is Legend, they're another band on the Solid State record label, they mix down and dirty Southern Rock and Hardcore, and do an amazing job at it.
8. Funeral for a Friend, a metal band from Wales, England, they're better then most of the crap that tries to imitate the post-rock ****.
7. Bleeding Through, they're a metal band out of the O.C. They're awesome when they're good, and rule when they're bad.
6. Paramore, they're, in my opion, the second best band, tied with Panic! at the Disco, on the Fueled by Ramen/Decadence roster. A girl fronted pop-rock band has been tried before, but they mak it sound like it's all new.
5. Gym Class Heroes, they mix hip-hop and indie rock, what could be a better mix?
5. Escape the Fate, a hardcore band out of Las Vegas. They act and sound like they're going to bring back the old rock metantality of 'mothers hide their daughters, and dads grab their shotguns.'
(CHiodos and The Matches are tied for Number Three)
3.Chiodos, these Michigan guys have taken the hardcore genre, anbd upped the ante, they write songs about everything from the Homer classic, Odyssey, to My Fair Lady, I'm not kidding.
3. The Matches, they are the nect Pink Flyod, need I say more? The Singer/songwriter Shawn Harris does some amazing vocal, writes amazing lyrics and is an amazing artist.
2.Silverstein, for some reason people have COMPLETELY over looked my favorite Canadians. I don't know why, they're seventy times better then any other band on Victory records, besides Atreyu. They have more musical and vocal talent then Hawthorne Heights and are a LOT better then Aiden. I guess us Americans are just way to dumb to know what great music sounds like when we hear it.
1. Zebrahead, I don't know why America hasn't caught on yet, Japan and the rest of the world has, MFZB(Motha ******' Zebrahead Biatch, no kidding, look it up) is an international success so why havn't they caught on here in America? But, Armed with a new record the duel vocal rap-punk band armed with new singer/guitarist Matty and rapper Ali and co. are taking over America next, Trust me.
