www.iraqfishorganization.wetpaint.com Miley CyrusBreakout Listen to Songs from Breakout ReviewsWell Done Miley Cyrus gave the world an incredible new album, with rockin' songs ready to be screamed along to. What more could you want? Miley Cyrus had an interesting sound in this album. She's not as sweet as she used to be, she's turned into an edgy rocker! Ah, Miley Cyrus. The sweet country girl made a hard-to-follow album. Definitely the best album I bought this year. Dare anyone say a bad word about this year's critical darling...... Some one took the dare...and said a bad word or two about Miles....the floodgates are open now...no I'm no Miley Cyrus fan, but I think they have it all over Selena Gomez and people like them. I think she is pretty seasoned in comparison to Selena....also, Demi Lovato isn't that bad...but I don't like her kind of music. I love The Jonas Brothers! I am not a HUGE Miley Cyrus fan, but I like "7 Things" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", I think her album is pretty great. I'm surprised that she didn't make a Hannah CD this time. I really enjoyed Hannah, and now I'm a little ticked. But now, I understand that Miley is just trying to get herself an older audience! The Jonas BrothersThe Bonus Jonas Edition Listen to Songs from The Jonas Brothers Reviews Jonas Bros all the way! Amazing singers, amazing musicians, and don't forget hot! Everyone loves the Jonas Brothers! They have the best qualities that a boy band needs. They're cute, they are great actors, they are great singers and musicians, and they are sweet people. They are the biggest music phenomenon yet! What the heck?! The Jonas Brothers? No way... MetrostationMetrostation Listen to Songs from Metrostation Reviews Metrostation? What's going on? Metrostation will never be, ever! NEVER! Metrostation...I guess they're pretty cool, they're just not really my type of music. It's still so much better than the other crap released this year, though. The only Metrostation song I have ever heard is "Shake It" and I think it's pretty cool! Leona LewisSpiritListen to Songs from Spirit Reviews Sophmore slump? I think so. This is a fair album despire the scathing review from Rolling Stone, but is pales compared to their debut. I hope the come back strong. Easily, one of the best cds produced in 2006! By no means is Sam's Town a sophomore slump (and what is that any way, the second year of highschool, right?). Anyway, this is a fantastic rock record. No, it's not like Hot Fuss, but it's better in so many ways. The songs are stronger and less electronic. More rock-- something we need in these days of rap/hip-hop/and Justin Timberlake (he's in genre all on his own since he needs so much help on every song he sings). Sam's Town is more than just conceptial, it is very accessible--something that much of today's music isn't. If you don't get the whole cd, download, 'Sam's Town', 'When You Were Young', 'Read My Mind', and 'Exitlude', if you do that you will end up buying the rest of the cd-- guaranteed! RS has no idea what its talking about. Sam's Town is amazing! At first I was worried about the new sound, but once I heard "When You Were Young" I realized that this was going to be huge. The Killers know how to make good music regardless of the type of sound. There's a song on it for everyone. Some of my favorites include Read My Mind, When You Were Young, Sam's Town, Bling (Confessions of a King), and This River Is Wild. Its definitely my album of the year! Good band. Great cd. They talk smack, it's annoying but they talk the talk and they also back it up with good tunes. So, as much as they annoy me at times, I can't deny the quality of music on this cd. It's easy for people to hate them for personal reasons, but I don't really care who they feud with or what they say about their aim to be the best. Ultimately, swagger is true sign of pure rock and roll, and The Killers have swagger for sure. Also, for a second record it's pretty incredible, especially when you put against some of the current music being released. Gnarls BarkleySt. ElsewhereAlbum of the Year - Smear the Year Listen to Songs from St. Elsewhere Reviews Crazy is a good song. And then the rest of the cdJoin goesus a bit too far in trying to prove how much of a 70s groove it can bring back. Don't me wrong, I love 70s soul, and I love Crazy, but I didn't feel this cd as a whole. I think Gnarls is talented and all that, but the truth is, we are so used to not having anything good to listen to that when something good creeps up just a little, it becomes the best thing next to sliced bread. Again, Crazy could easily be a song of the year just because of it's hook. And again, this cd is good. But certainly not what I would consider the best of 2006. I concur. Oh yeah, that is the album of the year, Sorry Guys I was the teeny boper. On a different note, I just plain don't like Justin Timberlake. Sexyback was an annoying excuse for a poor attempt at a song, and Justin Timberlake is, well... gross. Can't say enough how unoriginal this cd is, it's okay to emulate, but it's boring to constantly imitate I luv pink! i LUV the song "u + ur hand"Without a doubt the best pop album of '06 n the best album of her carear
