Sam's Town

Come on, really, was The Killers Sam's Town the most disappointing record released this year? I don't think so. Yes, it is different, and no, not in the 'meatloaf' sense-- I don't know what cd you were all listening to. Also, the reality is if the Killers released another Hot Fuss (a pop-glam rock record), you all would be saying that they aren't doing anything new-- and you'd be writing them off, just as easily as you are doing now. So, it's a 'lose-lose' situation with critics. To anyone else, listen to Sam's Town, if you like real rock music, you'll appreciate it! Oh, and I totally agree with your chosing Wolfmother in your top 10, easily one of the best rock records in 2006! Do you find this valuable?

sam's town is unlistenable. i'm sorry, but this is a fact. brandon flowers sound terrible and the music is so arena rock in the worst way possible.
thank you for the wolfmother nod, though. it'll still be awesome in 5 years.
